scooping up the guns n stuff and hiding them away.

And down came the GOOOOOD president
and HE said

"Little Saddam foo foo, I don't wanna see you
scoopin up the weaponry and stashing it away...

I'll give you ONE MORE chance. And if you don't behave,
I'll send you, off to the mooon!

You didn't see this coming from a mile away?

1. Bush ham-fists his way to the brink of a Crisis(tm)
2. Congress dutifully ramrods through the "let Bush do anything he wants" resolution.
3. Bush then backs down, but now he has the carte blanche in his pocket, for use later.

Result: The republicans can regroup on domestic issues before elections, since the reason that Dubya backed down is obviously because it would cost the taxpayers so much, and Dubya gets to make the world safe for his oil buddies.

Pawn pushed. Gambit taken. Mate in two.
