For what it is worth, I was lead to believe the hotel I was in (Hilton) had clocks that automatically adjusted. You see when I was in a Doubletree earlier in the week, they made a big deal that the clocks would automatically adjust. And Hilton and Doubletree are owned by the same people and the clocks look the same. And Hilton has been making a BFD about these clocks which I think are more like the devil's spawn (can't fix the time yourself, can't specify what station they wake up too, presets are preset and unchangable even when they are static because they have never been set, etc.)
So, I set my alarm for 7 AM, expecting it to be 7 AM EST, and got woken up at 6 AM because the clocks in this hotel weren't the same model. Argh. When I called the front desk they said they were supposed to put notes in the room warning people. Argh.
