Continuing the "it's better to be a little too communicative, as opposed to not communicative enough" thread, here's another in the series...

Friday: Games night! On the one hand, thanks to everyone who showed up. It was [livejournal.com profile] catya's organizing that pulled it together - but I think we need to have a cap on how many people / kids we can have in the house. It got pretty intense. I think at one point we had 30 people in our livingroom/ kitchen (including kids). A woefully incomplete list: [livejournal.com profile] jasra, [livejournal.com profile] dbang, [livejournal.com profile] qwrrty, [livejournal.com profile] randysmith, [livejournal.com profile] lilzon, greg, victoria, and a cast of thousands I can't remember.

Saturday: A generally yucky, rainy, cold day. First thing in the morning we had a bus tour come through, and I toured a handful of folks around. Afterwards, there was a lot of low-key hanging out in the common house (what's a CH for, eh? I wish we had the fireplace working), which had a steady parade of snacks, chats, and general geekery. Was rather nice actually. I took the opportunity to finish building my new server, and got it up and on the net successfully. In the evening, Kim, Zach and I went out to the 99 and had nummy food, followed by ice cream. A good way to end the day.

Sunday: Brunch in the common house (mmmmm) (thanks Kim!), then did a bunch of woodworking on the mailboxes in the CH entranceway - hopefully we'll be able to get our mail delivered soon! After that, there was a big pumpkin carving shindig hosted by [livejournal.com profile] winged_faerie (see some of the pictures on dbang's photo page. I was completely tuckered out by then, and took a nap. In the evening, low key geekery (more on this later, suffice to say LDAP ATE MY BRAIN), and some gaming.

This week there's a ton of LifeStuff I need to deal with, which I'm not looking forward to, but c'est la vie.
