So we decided to clean off the eaves that have a lot of snow on them. Fine, sez I, I'll get a ladder, and work on the eaves chopping the ice out and getting the snow off it.

Worked great. Got about 2/3rds of the roof done. Then when shifting the ladder the last time, i set it into the snow, stepped on teh lower rung - but lo! It wasn't -precisely- all the way down in the snow. My weight caused the ladder to tip toward me very quickly (i'm a big guy, dontchaknow), and the top of the ladder is, oh, about mouth height (see big guy comment). Just the right height to place the top rung about front tooth height. Yeah!

So now I'm off to the dentist for some emergency repairs. Sans half of one front tooth, and smaller chunk out of the other.

Whee! Thith ith just tho thpecial!
