Bike ride tonight (5/11/2005)
May. 11th, 2005 10:26 amI'm gonna take a ride on the assabet river rail trail with Zach this evening, starting around 5:30-ish, probably going for an hour, maybe hour and a half.
We'll be congregating on the south side of Fitchburg Street (aka Pleasant Street I think), just south of Rt 85 in Marlboro. (if you take 495 to the 290/85 exit, head towards Hudson, it's the first traffic light, turn right. A half mile down the bike trail crosses the street. Turn left and go up about 1/10th of a mile there's a cul-de-sac, that's where we'll be)
Map of the trail at this point:

The trail is paved for almost 3 miles now, and starting in the middle we usually go to one end, then all the way to the other end of the paved section, thenb ack - totally around 6 miles. It's railroad-grade trail, very easy riding, in an absolutely gorgeous setting.
Please RSVP to me if you're planning on showing up (and would like me to look out for you :), if it's past 3pm or so, call my cell at 978 239 5902.
[[ Edit: fixed hard returns, sorry :) ]]
