I need a new domain name.

My event management software, CONGO, is a project within Stonekeep Consulting. Fine and dandy. But 'stonekeep' has nada to do with event management.

I need a good name, either for the product or the company.

The trick is, it needs to have something like 'event' in the name somewhere. eventmaster. events.com. youreventisawesome.com (available, but no thanks :)

So, help me come up with a name for my product. I love 'eventpro', but that's about as taken as it can get.

CONGO is heading toward focusing more on 'event management' than 'registration', so I'd rather keep it in the 'event' realm rather than 'conference' 'convention' or 'registration'.

So, got any ideas?

Event Horizon
Eventualizer
Event Garde
Event-Handed

Some of these domains are taken or available at ridiculously inflated prices but you can consider using .net instead of .com, or adding "soft" to the domain name or what have you.

The other problem is that people will think it's about Evan Handler. Though he's a very funny and cute guy, I think he has nothing to do with event management.

Well, at least one person.

I was trying some pun off "eventually" too.

My vote goes to: eventeventevent.com

Yeah, I'm not sure if i like eventhandler. I mean, think about it in conversation. "What tool do you use for youre event?" "Oh, we use EventPro." - that works. "EventHandler" unfortunately sounds like a programming component.

Also: http://www.event-handler.com/

I'll need to alias it to 'badgerbadgerbadger.com'.

Which... has an odd synchronicity. Since the role of handing out badges at the event is titled "badger" :)

PureEvent.net and PureEvent.org seem to be available.

Simple, easy to say, understand, and spell.

Also, eventRunner.org (though the other eventRunner names are taken, which might be an issue)

Er. "Blessed event" is usually a reference to childbirth, in my experience. >:-)

CONGO as Midwife?

If your trying to move into the corporate and professional arena, it seems like a good fit without being stodgy or overthought.

It's also avoiding any possible misunderstandings; it seems to be rather hard to come up with a descriptive name that doesn't sound like it applies to logistics or manpower based services, like EventSupport, or RunYourEvent, or something like that.

Yeah, you don't want to end up with another PenIsland. (http://www.penisland.net/) I admit that "Puree Vent" doesn't roll off the tongue in quite the same way but still. The hyphen is your friend here.
