penkI'm sure folks have been hearing rumors and the like, but here's the official scuttlebutt.
Before I left for camping last week, I accepted a new full time position as a senior developer at LiveWire Mobile in Littleton, MA.
This is an honest to god, 9-5, in a cube/office, work with real people job, doing some high availability Java design and implementation (as well as maintaining a bunch of Perl code).
It's the first Real job I've had since 2003.
I'm nervous, excited, and a little off-kilter about the whole thing, but I know it's the right decision, and I'm ready to get started. My current contract-folks have been notified, we're all set for me starting in Littleton on August 4th.
