Radio Paradise just played a track that totally blew me out of my seat. Instrumental guitar, cello, slide steel guitar. Absolutely amazing. The artist is listed as 'Edgar Meyer / Jerry Douglas / Russ Barenberg', and is called From Ankara to Izmir.

Has anyone heard of these people before? Is the rest of the album as amazing as this track is? If so, I'm gonna click [order] pretty quickly.

Yes! The album "Skip, Hop, and Wobble" by Jerry Douglas, Russ Barenberg, and Edgar Meyer, has been one of my favorite albums ever, for a very long time. It's incredible.

Jerry Douglas is very famous in the acoustic music world. He is to the dobro what Béla Fleck is to the banjo. Russ Barenberg is a fairly well known bluegrass guitarist from California, and Edgar Meyer is an upright bass player who composes some of the weirdest (but wonderful) pieces on the album.

I don't know if I've heard that piece, but I generally trust Bill Goldsmith to find really good music to air. I've been an avid RP listener for gods, 5 years now.. I have bumper stickers if youd like one ;)

must check out this artist, tho!
