DAY OFF!

I. Have a day off. I'm off. Really. I don't have a con to prep for. Zach's in school. The house is quiet. I HAVE A DAY OFF! HAHAHAHAHHAH

Man do I need to catch up in mail. And unload the van. And get my office set up again. And set up a sniping tool. And gosh the office is messy, that should be cleaned too, and... oh dear.

Okay, so it's a different kind of day off.

I have a day off, too. Yay! So I got up at 6, read for a while, sort of met with the plumber who came to fix the pipes that had problems at the house over the weekend, cleaned up some from the pipes (& the housemates-grrrr), folded laundry, washed my hair (it took _forever_ to dry :), pinged jasra about hanging out & seeing if she wanted a ride to the airport (she said yes!), so I went & did that for a couple of hours, came to my lab & unloaded some of the post-con stuff to deal with into my office, updated Livejournal friends list a bit, started gen'ing PDFs for SIGGRAPH deadline on Wednesday (ah, it's good to not be working today ;), smashed through 300+ msgs in my primary in-box, updated a spam filter, will wander home at some point & still not do any work at all today.

Maybe I should finish emptying out my car & get it detailed like I said I was going to do for my birthday back in October... hmmmmm....
