Test my software for me?

With friends giving away tons of stuff, I'm reminded of a tool I wrote a year or three ago to help folks on Craiglist, Freecycle, GB-Reuse, etc keep track of things they're giving away, and whether they've been claimed or not. The idea was to prevent the "I'll take it if no one else has it" "X, Y, and Z claimed, such and such are stilla vailable" conversation that frequently happens.

We used it a bunch when we moved out of our house in Bolton, but now I'd like to get others using it as well.

Would you test it for me? I'm looking for feedback, both positive and negative about the system, the concept, and the design. My goal is to be able to announce it on Craigslist and Freecycle and the like and invite people to use it for posting their giveaways.

You can create giveaways, invite other people to it, put things up for claiming, and do whatever you like with it, with an eye toward "If I were giving away a ton of items, would this help me, would it be useful, would I tell my friends about it?"

There are functions I know aren't there, one fantastic suggestion was the concept of a 'waiting list'. So if someone comes in and claims an item, you can put your name on the 'waiting list' so if the first person doesn't pick up the item, you can get it (it's fairly common for folks to say "I'll take it!" and then enver actually pick up the item.

I want to be able to hide my list so only people I tell about it can see it. (As it stands, it looks like anyone who knows about claimit can see anything listed.)
